a long hiatus

so, i suppose some explanation is due. yes, we're all okay, and yes, zoe is definitely still teething. in fact, it's gotten pretty serious. all week, she was sleeping through the night - 8 hours at a stretch, and doing great. it was awesome. and then the weekend arrived. friday night, zoe went to bed around 9:30, her usual bed time. lori was over, and we sat up, talking and drinking coffee until about 1:30am. zoe woke up with a vengeance, and started a brutal pattern. she was awake until 2:30, and got up at 4:00. she stayed up until 5, and woke up at 6:30. then she stayed awake until 8, and went to sleep at 9. needless to say, i didn't sleep at all friday night. infact, i was up with her until 2pm, when i told spencer i couldn't take it anymore. i went to sleep at 2, and well, let's just say i was really tired. he brought her to me so i could feed her in bed, and it's now 6:25am, on sunday. she's in her bed asleep, and i'm finally rested. and maybe, she won't pull the 2 hour stunt on us for awhile. we were supposed to go to a birthday party, and show zoe to some of our friends we haven't seen in a while, and then we were having some family over. so much for that.

so, in light of the sleeplessness, and the cranky little girl, forgive the dearth of posts. we're back on track i think, and hopefully, she'll move back to sleeping through the night. oh. and her tooth is now a sharp little point on her gums. i can't believe she's losing that awesome gummy smile. but one little tooth in that smile will be just as cute.

so, stay tuned, life will return to normal, and i'll remember to take pictures again really soon.
